Sunset at mountain Vithatten
Stiftsgården a winter morning
The light is a huge part of Skellefteå and Swedish Lapland. In summer the sun doesn't set for 100 days and during the darkest time in winter the sun barley rises over the horizon.
Then the land is illuminated by millions of stars reflecting there light in the snow creating a pale blue light.
How does this effects us? In summer we tee off at the golf course at 00:00 in broad daylight, in winter we travel trough rhe roadless lands with huskies and torches. The light and the contrasts allows us to experiance the magnificent Swedish Lapland in complete different ways.
